Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to website design and related services provided by JayTech Digital (operated by Rakesh Tata, Darwin NT). By accepting a quote you agree to these terms.

Quotes and scope

Each project is based on a written quote describing the agreed pages, features and timeline. Work outside that scope will be quoted separately before it starts.

Free demo

We may prepare a free demo before you commit. There is no obligation to proceed, and the demo remains our property unless you go ahead.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are set out in your quote and invoice. We may pause work or delay going live if an invoice is overdue. Any ongoing hosting or maintenance fees will be agreed in writing in advance.

Your content

You are responsible for supplying text, images and logos, and for making sure you have the right to use them. Delays in supplying content may affect the delivery date.

Revisions

Your quote includes a set number of revision rounds. Additional revisions or changes after sign-off may be charged at an agreed rate.

Ownership

Once paid in full, you own the final website content and design created specifically for you. We keep the right to reuse general code, templates and tools, and to show the finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. Third-party items (such as fonts, plugins, domains and hosting accounts) remain subject to their own licences.

Domains and hosting

Where we register a domain or set up hosting for you, it will be registered in your name or transferred to you on request once paid.

Liability

We take care to deliver reliable work, but we do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic or sales. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the services or refunding the amount paid for them.

Cancellation

Either party may end a project by written notice. You pay for work completed up to that point.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia.
